What is Postcolonialism?
Since I claim to be a postcolonialism scholar, I think it is apt to include a brief description of my field of study. In my view, Postcolonialism ( also written as Post Colonialism or Post-Colonialism) is a dynamic field of literary study that focuses on the history of colonialism and native responses to the colonial policies and life after colonialism formally ends. The field of postcolonialism also offers insights into the literature and culture of the the former European colonies and their struggles after the end of colonialism.

Your videos have been immensely helpful, Dr Raja. You have a wonderful gift of making complex ideas accessible. Thank you for your excellent service of teaching thousands of students and academics out of the sheer generosity of your heart. You’re a real luminary. Would love to hear your thoughts on/explanation of Aijaz Ahmad’s ‘In Theory’ in an upcoming video.

Dear Dr. Raja, great video, as usual. As a regular viewer of your channel, I'd like to give you a feedback. The volume of your audios is markedly low as compared to the others on YouTube, even when played at the maximum. Could you please check if something's wrong at your end and try to remedy this? It would be really helpful if you could fix this since I mostly listen to your videos like podcasts.

I enjoy your lectures, please keep uploading your lectures, many students desperately need such lectures, specially on Postcolonialism and works pertaining to it. I would request you to please shed light on Philosophers such as Nietzsche, Albert Camus, and other philosophers who influenced modernism and postmodernism immensely.

Very well explained!! It really is the most misunderstood quote of Karl Marx. Everyone is trying to interpret it to suit his own purpose.

4:29 I assume you meant Feuerbach, not Freud?

"He takes that from Freud" - I think you must have meant Feuerbach.
