Keir Starmer has accused Boris Johnson of making a "completely avoidable mess" of reopening schools, as he demanded the establishment of a national task force to restore education.

What plan does Johnson refer to, which they are sticking to? Making announcement to reopen 100% primary schools then backing down a week before reopening them dosn't count as a plan surely. What does Johnson mean by 97% of schools are already reopen to let pupils return? 97% of primary schools with 1.1% of their pupils such as children of keyworker families attending school is 1.067% or 1% of primary school pupils attending school leaving 99% stuck at home for 6 months after completing 33% of their full-year curriculum. What is the Education minister's plan to make good the missing 67% of the curriculum, making all pupils to repeat the same school years or wave them off with estimated school reports then return to begin the next higher year new curriculum?
