"when i was 20 and just finished my first ever tour i flew home to dublin from san fransisco. couldnt sleep on the overnight flight, opened the blind at some point, and for the first (and only) time saw the northern lights, think the footage is in a 365x video somewhere. it was one of those moments that seemed to exist as both as vindication and an omen. i dont really believe in fate or a higher power but it really left a mark on me. it happened again two days ago, flying back to london from seattle. sleepless flight, urge to look out the window at a black sky, chance encounter. 2023 feels like beginning again idk. just wanted to say thank you for the energy and love so far. excited for the future."
