To kchoi and previous commenter: My wife teaches 6th grade AP English. At a job interview, she was asked what her favorite book to teach was. She said The Little Prince. The panel interviewing her asked why, and she spoke at length about the imagination required of the student, the lessons taught within the book, etc. As it turns out, the Head of School was so fond of the book as a teaching tool that she had sought out and read the original (in French).

She got the job. ;-)
