Here are a few potential healing properties associated with a relaxing cat's purr:

🐱 Stress reduction

The low-frequency vibrations produced by a cat's purr may help reduce stress and promote relaxation. It is believed that the rhythmic nature of the purring sound can have a calming effect on humans.

🐱 Blood pressure regulation

Some studies suggest that interacting with cats and experiencing their purring can help lower blood pressure levels. Lower blood pressure is generally associated with improved cardiovascular health.

🐱 Pain relief

The vibrations of a cat's purr might have a therapeutic effect, leading to pain reduction. It has been suggested that the frequency range of 25 - 150 Hz could potentially stimulate the body's natural healing processes and provide pain relief for certain conditions.

🐱 Bone and tissue regeneration

Purring in this particular frequency range might promote bone healing and tissue regeneration. It has been proposed that the vibrations of a cat's purr in this range may help stimulate the body's cells, promoting repair and regeneration.
