NEW Trade Targets For The Upcoming MLB Offseason.

The trade market this offseason could be more active than ever with the financial situation going on in MLB and in addition to the trade rumors we expect (Crochet, Robert, Luzardo, etc...) there will be NEW trade rumors. Here are 4 names that I think we can add to the rumor mill for this offseason.

I think one thing with the Juan Soto trade before this season isn't getting talked about. How great the trade worked for all parties involved. Trades where both teams can consider themselves winners lead to good trade partners.

I can see Bassitt being traded before the FO considers trading Gausman tbh. Gaus has a better track record the past 3 season, while Bassitt is a free agent after 2025!

I think after this season the Mets need to make some moves and get star players buxton gausman robert jr are all really good trade targets for them add some relievers and it’s looking pretty good for us but this post season showed that you need the big star players to win

I sure hope the Yankees sign both Soto, and Burnes, and a great closer if available in FA. Let Holmes walk if he commands alot of 💰, but will not be a closer in the Bronx. Still pissed at Cashman for not trading for Tanner Scott. Imagine the late innings of Weaver, and Scott to finish the game off. Soto isn't going anywhere. You don't give up what the Yankees gave up to get Soto, and let him walk. As cheap as Hal, and cashman are, they aren't going to let him walk, it's like 10 percent, or less that Soto leaves. Soto will listen to offers, but the Yankees will be the winners. Hal has already said that he wants Soto to be a Yankee, for life. He said the same thing about Judge, and he's still here.

My personal opinion is that the Mets should deal Baty or, let Alonso walk and move Vientos to first. Alonso will want way too much money and he's pretty much a one tool guy. Save that cash for, oh, I don't know, Corbin Burns? A lot depends on if the Mets brass think that Baty is the actual future or not.

Trading away gausman puts too much pressure on Francis Rodriguez and Bloss to all perform…. I would argue they should look at adding to their current rotation and make Rodriguez a high leverage rp
