Neighbor arrested, faces with murder charges connected to missing Beaverton nurse

Beaverton Police arrested a man Friday evening they said murdered a woman who had been reported missing. Melissa Jubane had first been reported missing the morning of Sept. 4 when she failed to show up for her shift as a nurse at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. During the investigation, police said they determined that one of Jubane’s neighbors, 27-year-old Bryce Johnathan Schubert, was involved in her disappearance. Police said that they found Jubane’s remains and arrested Schubert on a charge of second-degree murder.

Damn, that's horrible. AND she just got married the week before going missing. Talk about horrible stuff. Hopefully she finds peace, and hopefully her husband can find some comfort.

This hurts my heart. I'm a RN Supervisor and when my staff don't show up (on time) when they normally are (on time), I immediately call and call/text until I get an answer because you never know what is happening in someone's personal life. I apologize for the multiple calls after I've made contact with the person but explain to them I just want to make sure they are safe and remind them, PLEASE CALL IN IF YOU ARE GONNA BE LATE.
