This reminds me of something. I’m a doctor and songwriter. I was working with a teenager with brain cancer, who died. I then wrote and recorded “Hope Always.” That was about 27 years ago. 5 years ago I was sorting through hundreds of CDs and cassettes. I popped in a tape. It was “Hope Always.” I listened and thought, “ Wow, my background vocal was really good” although it was too long ago to remember the recording session. Then I realized that was not me singing the background. It was my daughter. We sounded identical. It was the only time she joined me in the studio. I did send the recording (27 years ago) to the girl’s parents. My daughter did join me in several concerts.
