Test between Red Weapon 8k helium, Arri Alexa Plus, Canon C200 and Canon Eos R. This test shows picture quality, color science and difference between listed cameras. I used manufactory rec709 lut, and I didn’t do any color correction or color matching. That is pretty much the image straight out of camera.
Disclaimer: Red Weapon, Arri Alexa and Canon C200 can be color matched pretty closely, but it’ll require skill and knowledge in working with colors. All there have an amazing DR. The nicest colors straight out of camera is on Red and Arri, which isn’t surprising. But With a few tweaks, Canon C200 can be pulled up to their level. Canon Eos R has a great image quality as for a small mirrorless camera, but next to Red, Arri and C200, we can clearly see the lack of DR and color information.
