Wowcher - I'm SO excited featuring Katherine Ryan

Wowcher, the UK’s leading deal-of-the-day website, has recruited Canadian-Irish comedian Katherine Ryan to front its new commercials (airing on UK TV channels from Monday 23rd August 2021).

The 2 x 30” creatives were filmed at a stately home in Hertfordshire. The producers are Space City’s Alice Durkin and Josie Leadbetter. The director is Mary Sue Masson.

Amii van Dunn, CEO of Space Ctiy said: “I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it. I’ve just seen a Wowcher ad and I think I like it!

The new commercials show Katherine enjoying the delights of some of Wowcher’s most popular products and services: hiring a quad bike, buying furniture and jewellery, enjoying a spa weekend and even an “alpaca experience.” It’s her first performing role since the birth of her baby Frederick in June.

The soundtrack features an adapted version of “I’m So Excited” by the Pointer Sisters.

Wowcher’s Director of Marketing, Alexis Harrison, said: “We’re really pleased to see the creatives come to life – Katherine has done a great job. We can’t wait for our viewers to see the new commercials on air”.
