Cream Midge

The cream midge is an awesome midge pattern. For those just learning to tie, this one is quick and uses very little material. Due to its simplicity, it's also pretty easy to tie small.

The body is made of the thread being used, and one strand of black superhair creates the rib. Build up a small black thorax with Superfine dubbing, add a pearl tinsel wing case, and you're done.

I like to throw on a light coat of UV resin just on the top of the fly.
