Some good, solid, common sense information Ken. I wish everyone did all, it takes just about as much time to do it wrong as it does to do it right. Happy paddling.

Great video but you don't need to throw both ends of the strap over the boat. Even with padded buckles this is dangerous to the car or other people. Just throw the end without the buckle over one side then back over from the other side. End up with the buckle 6"-1' from the top of the rack so that you cinch down as he shows in the video.
