Love using mine for Pico 8, 3DS, Ps2, and Gamecube! I usually play a Wii game here and there too just because as well! It's my end-game handheld and I couldn't be happier to have it! :D

Yes, and no, in my opinion here. Most stuff older than GameCube will likely run fine out of box, but in my experience with it, in no way was the Cube I ordered for my partner ready for prime time when it came to what it's really capable of. The first GC game I tested, out of box, was Pokemon Colosseum (one of her favorites) and the MENU screen struggled. After stripping every stock install out, and getting the most up-to-date versions from Obtanium and hand-configuring everything, it is now worthy of its reputation and pedigree, and my lady is playing Pokemon X and others, happy as can be. The extra work really pays with consoles like these.

To be fair 16:9 content does not look terrible on this screen. It actually looks pretty nice. It’s just way too small. It’s not really fair to say it looks bad.

The lightbleed was fixed by anbernic as they said it was only the first batch sent to reviewers that had the problem so they fixed it..

I def agree with this review. It's def a bit overpriced for what it does. I had an issue with my touchscreen being unresponsive but they actually wound up sending a new one to me which really surprised me. I hope they keep up that trend as their customer service has been pretty sh1t in the past whenever anything happened to one of my older units. Great review!

I like it but I’ll stick with the rg35xx models because 60 aud vs 250+ aud depending on the seller is crazy.

The same insides as the RG556 so more than capable for 3DS as well as DS, and with the right tweaking a LOT of GameCube and PS2 will work if you spend time altering settings accordingly. But I'd still say get the 556 over the Cube personally.

Yup, the perfect device would have been this design for ~129$. Less beefy specs and Dreamcast emulation being the upper target. (and no light bleed of course.... preferably the d-pad at top as well)
