When I start my HVAC business up I’m going to be doing almost everything the way Dave teaches it. I started my journey listening to Dave and after about three years I finally did my EveryDollar budget. Here I am five years later and my financial life is finally improving. I had $119, 000 in student loans and just after 18 months I am down to $48, 000 with 9 month left. Thank you Dave. I’m a hugger and if I ever meet you I’m going to ask if I can give you a huge hug. You are changing my life.

Odly enough, this is very useful info as somebody for interviewing to get a job. Thanks!

I agree that the interviewee shouldn’t be spending time asking what the pay is however I think the employer should be upfront about what they potential pay range will be.

If you find someone who is highly qualified but is used to making 50% more than what you’re willing to pay then you’re wasting their time and yours.

When Dave talks about having the interviewee do a budget, the last job I interviewed for, I told them I couldn't take the job for what they were offering, I had the household figures in my head, and I could ballpark a number on the fly, we negotiated back and forth, agreed on a starting salary, and I worked my butt off. Long story short, when raise time came around (quarterly), I was getting the max raise for the next 2 years. I also figured out how to remove labour from others on a certain product, and had them re-a;ign data so we could just do it all at the machine. Total part time dropped, and quality improved. Boss got the credit and I got a raise. I love the part about 90 days probation. Dave is right, the company needs to prove tot eh worker that this is good for the worker. Crazy thing is, we workers are more worried about getting a crappy job, than we are worried about getting a crappy company to work for.

My two key things has always been aptitude and attitude. With aptitude, you don't need exact experience and can even mold them into a better fit. Attitude speaks for its self, work ethic, not a bunch of trendy buzz terms coming out of their mouth.

Dave's programmers would probably say, "We don't any idea what we're doing, either, Dave!"

I would never bring my husband to a dinner for a job interview process. This is far too personal.

I’m usually in agreement w/ ol’ Ramsey, but the Only steps I agree w/ is the 30 min interview, 90 day probation & the KRA. Everything else is hogwash👎🏽

Who in their right mind would want to work for the Dave Ramsey cult?

Pray is stupid.
Dave thinks all of his workers are good?
Dave does all day interviews. And he tells people to stop doing 2 hours interviews?
Having a budget is none of your business. It's just a way for them to pay lower.
I would want to know pay and compensation before the interview. I would not want to waste my time and get lowballed at the end.
Spousal interviews are stupid. I know the questions the they will ask during that would be considered illegal.
