He shared with me the struggle he had in the past with drugs after his mother died, & his drug use was in the past. Everyone has their own connection to music, and for this one - whether it's dealing with addiction, rehabilitation, mental health (or whatever else it may be) this song is extremely relatable for anyone who has a lot of hardships they're still working on getting over and through. The message in the video that shows a lot of days you might not feel like you're cut out for the world around you or you're not going to make it has that message to take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. Know that it's okay to lean on the people that care and those who you can let down those walls around.
