2 confirmed dead at Amazon facility after collapse; search and rescue ongoing, Edwardsville PD says

Our managers mentioned this today before our shift at an amazon fullfillment center in wisconsin while a storm was coming through. Freaked me out. I hope amazon does right by the families affected in this tragedy.

The negative comments are terrible. Tornadoes drop out of the sky unannounced. Sometimes you just can't predict where one will hit. My prayers are with all who have been affected in any way.

My guess is that the people who are home safe, or have been rescued are going to be transferred to a different Amazon warehouse to continue work while they continue the search. Everyone just stop ordering from Amazon and give the workers a break.

This is the exact same damage that occurred when BWI5 in Baltimore MD was hit by a tornado several years ago. Absolutely NO upgrades were made to these building after that happened
