During the 2011 promotion for the 30th Anniversary of Don't Say No, Billy sat down with Eddie Trunk to discuss the album and his career. Billy enjoyed it so much he decided to come back for a second interview. They decided to split the interview into segments documenting each of Billy's Capital Records releases. We’ve segmented them for YouTube in the order of each album. In part 2, Billy and Eddie delve into what led Billy to start his solo career and the making of Tale of the Tape.

"You Should Be High Love" is my favorite off this album. Killer song, catchy as hell, and straight out rocks hard.

I knew of this album but thought I never heard any of it so I gave it a spin. You Should Be High Love was an FM Staple in the early 80’s . Great record but setting the table for Don’t Say No which is an absolute Gem. So 1981….Great tracks al over the radio and first string MTV. Solid

Calley Oh, Rich Kid, You Should Be High Love, Like I'm Loving You ... The Big Beat ... love this album, essential to launching Billy's solo sound ... reissues should add his song from the soundtrack to Fast Times At Ridgemount High, it fits right in!

Billy is giving a great interview. Eddie seems to interrupt quite often.
First song I ever heard from Billy Squire was 'You should be high love'. Been a fan ever since.

Tale of the Tape is a great debut record, and i love his first three albums, from Tale, Dont say, upto and including Emotions, are 3 of the best albums of the early 80s, if not trio of albums.

Signs of life wasnt bad, too keyboardy for my liking.

Tale of The Tape is my favorite Squier record. It's really a power pop record and not a hard rock album.

Trunk is interviewing a legend yet he keeps interrupting Billy, changing the topic, and talking more than this superstar. Let the guy talk Eddie, shut up and listen, it’s called respect.
