In the cockpit with Condor to Madeira!

In this video we join a Condor A321 crew in the cockpit to Madeira’s Cristiano Ronaldo Airport (FNC) and back to Frankfurt.

We get a behind-the-scenes, exclusive and up-close look at not only what goes into landing at Madeira in some tricky weather, including planning for diversion points, but also at what an entire duty day for a Condor crew looks like, joining them for the return to Frankfurt as well.

This one is jam-packed full of flight deck activity and action including two takeoffs, two landings, briefings, enroute weather reports, and even lunch. Plus much much more. We hope you enjoy!

I love that they tell the passengers what's going on. A few of my friends are scared of flying partially since situations like go arounds made them think they had a near end experience. At this point explaining doesn't really help but they're much more chill with talkative pilots tho. Thank you :)

Like everyone else it felt like we were on the flight deck. In fact with all the extra info from your friend the FO it felt like we were along for his check ride. Flew with Condor a few weeks ago. Loved the regular updates from the pilot... Unlike some certain airlines now, where they don't even give you preflight briefing or welcome speech.
