What I knew is number of kakfa consumer belonging to same consumer group should be equal in number or more than number of partition in that topic, otherwsie if we have less consumer than partition then some partition will get unread as each partition is assigned to one consumer, or it is other way arround that partition can be less than consumer, I am not sure which one is true, please clarify but you have multiple partition and one consumer, I think some consumers will not be picked by consumer, how is ot happening, I am not sure
