VCore 95 has a good combination of spin and control too, having a big sweetspot for a 95.

After Head Prestige Tour (red) and Head Extreme Tour….my new Head Prestige MP L is the perfect mixture between control spin and power…!!!

The Babolat Pure Strike 2020/21 is great

I really like the Head Extreme Tour. But my current favorite (and I like spin/control racquets) is the Angell K7 Red. The Extreme Tour is very whippy and you can "shape" your shots really well with it, but it lacks plow-through for me which I really need since I typically hit slice backhands. The K7 Red has much better plow-through (for me).

Strange there are no Prince here. Spin and control is their trademark. Despites the brand recognition isn't what it used to be, they still produce fantastic frame.

Jonas, what do you think about the Prince Phantom 100x 305grs. with its 16x18 String Pattern.

I weight my Extreme Tours up to 350g strung and they hit a very heavy ball while staying quite precise. Love em.

Head Extreme Tour is fast becoming my all time fav racket. It's amazing for customisation. I was recovering from a elbow and shoulder injury and was looking for a pure aero alternative. This racket gives me the same kind of launch angle but I get more control and still manage huge amounts of spin. I play full poly on this and am amazed at how arm friendly this is. Feels like an extension of my arm. On top I'm serving better then I used too with the pure aero.

Highly recommend racket. Definitely worth a demo if you haven't tried it yet but be ready to customise it as out of the box it's a bit light

Although it's discontinued, I would suggest the Wilson Pro Staff 97s (the Dimitrov endorsed racquet from 2016) after some added lead on the handle.

Could you Please do a review of the BABOLAT PURE AERO TOUR! I think it could be quite an ideal racquet for advanced players who are looking for good amount of topspin but also stability and good volleys when compared to the Pure Aero. Thanks!! Really like your content!

Recommendation: do a video comparing racquet brands. Generally speaking, how you rate Head vs Wilson or Yonex, Babolat in terms of quality and types of frames (soft vs firm). Curious about how you would rank them based on YOUR experiences and why a brand like Volkl gets very little mention in your videos.

Tennisnerd, can you please review the Yonex Vcore Tour F series? More specifically, the Yonex Vcore Tour F 93? Fairly cheap frame but a forgot frame that Yonex made. They made a 93 sq mold with a 16x21 pattern with the fins. I am curious how and where you would rate and put that racket. I think the tour f line is easily looked over but I would love to see you get your hands on one and try it out! Thanks!

From my testing so far best for power spin and control by far is Babolat Pure Aero VS 98 but I haven’t tried all that you have

Nice selection!
Shouldn’t the new vcp 97 (310) be there?
Great racquet for control and great spin…
Thanks!

Solinco frames look very nice. I think it was an awesome idea to release a weight kit to personalize the frame to your game or let players experiment. The price is also excellent.

Nice info. Regarding the Exteme Tour, where do you put the 4-5g? Inside, or under the grip at the top part of the grip part?

I would regard the Vcore 98 as a power and spin racquet, it has a fairly inconsistent string bed to regarded a control racquet as its not that tight for 16 x19, I would have chosen the Vcore 95 with that 16 x 20 pattern and smaller head.

Hey Jonas, if you can find a Canadian affiliate I would be happy to use the link so you could get a commission. RacquetGuys I think is in both the US and Canada
