Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and head coach Christie Sides talk with media after a 88-87 Indiana Fever loss in Chicago on Sunday. It was their third meeting in just a few weeks.

The Fever led by double digits in the third quarter and took an eight-point lead into the fourth quarter. But then they failed to get stops and the offense struggled. The Chicago Sky went on an 18-2 run and held on for a win in front of a sellout crowd (9,872) at Wintrust Arena.

Kelsey Mitchell scored 24 points, Aliyah Boston had 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists, and Caitlin Clark finished with 17 points, six rebounds and 13 assists. Angel Reese led all with 25 points and 16 rebounds.

this game was eye opening. I didn't realize that all of CC's turnovers are incredible passes that are fumbled. Geez. Probably 50% of her turnovers should be in the assist category. The look on her face when they fumble her perfect passes tells it all

This loss is on the coach. Last 7 seconds you get to inbound the basketball and you don't have a play for your best shooter come on coach get it together, you have a good team with great players in the indiana fever.

We all saw the espn bench clip with Sides saying to change the pace to a slowdown and drain the clock at the end of the third. Thanks CC for making that point. That stunted the momentum of the game and lost the lead. Bad subs are another issue. This should not have been a loss with those stats from the players. This one is on Sides.
