This delicious homemade nourishment is known as “Labneh” was introduced to me by an Arabic colleague when I was in Dubai. Labneh is basically a Middle Eastern yogurt Dip. It is also popularly known as yogurt cheese or Greek Yogurt.
Labneh can be used as a dip, spread on sandwiches, pita bread etc. We use to always go for office lunches and have "Labneh Manakeesh" in the local bakeries in Dubai, which was just mouth melting and satiating.
It is palatable & is perfect to beat the heat. It is a good source of protein, iodine, calcium, and Vitamin B12.
