I’ve honestly always seen them more akin to Mongolians, Norsemen, Franks, even fringe people. Mexicans were far from my mind, but orc desperado’s have a nice ring to it for a Wild West dnd game.

What infuriates me the most is that you can't tell Orcs and Half Orcs appart anymore. These new Orcs have lighter skin, more human like physique, smaller tusks etc.
How the hell do Half Orcs look like with this information?

I prefer the warcraft, d&d 3.5, and pathfinder 1e portrayals of orcs. I don't mind the anime orc = pig-men portrayals. Then wotc went from 3.5 to 5e, I don't recall seeing any portrayals of orcs, but I didn't enjoy them so much in 5e. I gave up on 5e back in 2020, although the Tortle race was really cool. But I'm a ShellBack who watched TMNT growing up.

That whole piece of work has all kinds of messages on it. Some of the other artwork that's coming out is all about the message they're kind of shoving it down everyone's throats it's not really about the game anymore check out the artwork that has the two dwarf apparently gay Bakers on it they both have each other's braided beards tattoos on each other's arms

Honestly, since orcs are so widespread in dnd, why can't they have just as many different cultures as humans? Like even in Faerun there is a vast difference between people of the sword coast and native chultans. Honestly, allowing different races to be different cultures just opens up so many more character options that are just so friggin cool
