Dredd, Full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove, and Alien are all classics! Someday, I'll film a movie in Britain.

Three Billboards is a brilliant film. It makes it all the sweeter since i got my friends to watch it. Now i can tell them it's a British film.

David bowie's son may be a good director but the man doesn't like music. Any music at all! I find it baffling.

Full metal jacket is fantastically shot you would never know it was all filmed there apart from the UK road markings at the base .... but the Vietnam bits are uncanny

we don't talk about the Stallone abomination and 2000AD is a totally British production, it's always been a British publication so it's had nothing but British publishers

Also on Dredd, Gavin Free, although uncredited, worked on it, probably Youtube's most famous cinematographer.

Dredd (2012) setting looks spectacular and I didn't know it was filmed in Britain.

Apparently, (well, according to the annotations included on the DVD, ) The Vogon corridors in the first episode of the TV version of Hitchhikers  Guide to the Galaxy were re-used set pieces from Alien...

Full Metal Jacket - big giveaway were the British road markings on the (right side) streets when they're running around their 'US' base!

By this criteria, Batman by Tim Burton. The Gotham scenes all filmed in Battersea power station.

FMJ May have been filmed in Britain ( the boot camp scenes were filmed at Army Training Regiment Bassingbourn) calling it a British film is a stretch. Star Wars was made in Britain, but it’s not a British film.

"Aliens"was also a mainly British production. Most of the American supporting cast were uk based actors. All the crew were British ( didn't get on at all well with JC)
but as the director James Cameron is American I guess it doesn't qualify for this list.

Just because it’s a British director, doesn’t mean it’s a British film
