My favorite life moment is reading The Whale and the Snail to my children with this playing, it builds perfectly with the story and there is no other way to describe other than for 5 minute life is complete and perfect

Late January 2019, driving up the A303 back home to my wife in Oxfordshire after a week away on a residential course in Warminster. Listening to a recent, missed ep of RadMac on iPlayer Radio / BBC Sounds. Stuart Maconie was doing all the heavy lifting while Mark Radcliffe was convalescing. This absolute gem plays as the Stretch Arm Song in beautiful synchronicity as I drive past Stonehenge. Words fail me.

Thank you, Stuart Maconie.
Thank you, Mark Radcliffe.
Thank you, Hannah Peel.

Thank you, 6 Music.

Only just heard this for the first time last week and felt I had to come here and say just how gorgeous I think this is, and how glorious it is that in this day and age there is music such as this being made. A beautiful, stirring song and a wonderful, wonderful album too (to anyone reading this, give it a listen if you haven't already)!

This lady is off the scale brilliant. Thank God for 6 music otherwise I might be unaware of her.

Thank you so much for this beautifully crafted piece, Hannah.
It is the only piece I have heard on radio 6 and radio 3. Glorious.

I love the way the deep bass notes come in at the end. This music is soooo cinematic, I can see a spacecraft landing on an alien planet for the first time.😮

I first heard this when Hannah appeared on bbc 6 music with Mark and Stuart. The track left me numb and distraught for about 20 mins after it was played, a situation that I have never experienced before due to many personal losses.
I have played it many times here since that day (here I am again) and a huge percentage of loss and grief has finally been lifted.
Thank you Hannah, there is magic in your music, I'm going to buy this on vinyl when I can and hopefully get to one of your shows.
Thanks again Hannah.

Hannah, your love for synthesisers on Tom’s Listening Service brought me here, but truthfully you’ve been one of my favourite DJs for over a year thanks to Night Tracks. It’s difficult to describe the enveloping feeling of your selections, but for me it’s most like the earthy green blanket I climb into when I see the British countryside. Thank you for all of your music.

Amazing! What a talent, definately an old soul. The force is with you Hannah and it is heart shaped and can be plugged into Casio key board!

What a fantastic album you have put together my mum has dementia so i can relate to the sentiment behind the story and to have the choirboy at the end is a special moment. Stunning.

Very Jóhann Jóhannsenesque. The best compliment I could pay any composer...

Don't know what it is about brass instruments that seems to trigger emotional reactions. Beautiful and haunting. 🙏💗😢

Hate how songs like this make me wish I could play French horn.

Matt Oldfield needs to learn the difference between a 'song' and a 'piece of music'.
