What's funny is, the Futurama crossover may actually be considered canon, because several episodes that came out after it still show Bender in the basement, and they even interact with it a few times. That's really clever because they rarely do that kind of thing.

I 100% prefer Bart going to Law School route, the story of "he's a loser his entire life hahaha" is too overdone.

When you look at the Simpsons as a whole, it feels like one of Grampa Simposons Rambling stories. What if in the end, it turns out the entire show was just he ramblings of a very old Hommer. Constantly contradicting himself, but there is a story your can make sense out of.

The other problem with Lisa's Wedding is that a specific date is given for that wedding, a day that is now in the past in the PRESENT timeline.

15:12 Maybe Grandpas body was in the tube, technically dead, and the gravestone was just there for tradition sake.

The future scene with Bart being a Supreme Court Justice is personally my favourite. Its one of the few times we see Bart actually have a successful future, instead of him being a mooch or a slob and Lisa being the successful one.

10:47 I'm so proud of you mentioning Bart becoming Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. I was afraid that you'd forget to mention it.

I agree about Lisa and Nelson, it's just weird for her to be with Milhouse, her and Nelson always had chemistry

The biggest mystery is why Lisa married Milhouse

I like to consider Barthood to as canon. It's a genuinely touching episode and easily one of the best in the past 10 years (not that there's much competition). It's also got the most realistic depictions of the future. I know it's a parody of Boyhood but it's still great.

What about the part where there's a religion based on the life of Bart and in 1000 years there's a war between two factions of that religion?

I can't be the only one who wanted Nelson for Lisa. Milhouse is such a wimp even as an adult. Whereas Nelson has changed into a better person.

Lisa became president about a year after the Christmas future episode because Maggie's baby, Maggie jr was about a year old in the president episode.

There's really only 6 episodes of the future? I could've sworn there was about 10 now after all the future episodes in the newer seasons.

Why do I almost cry when I see the mural Bart did for Lisa in the bike shop...

"like Stonehenge this site will forever remain a mystery, who was Bart?"
"he must have been smarter than his sister Lisa about whom we know nothing"

This is a great explanation, I like the idea that the episodes just paint a picture of what "actually" happened.

That being said, Futurama does the future so much better 😆

No!! you are not the only one!! i totally think Nelson is better for Lisa than Milhouse!!! it's not bat to be super psychological with ficctional characters!!. Please, do a video about who objectively is better for Lisa: Nelson, Milhouse, ¿Ralph?, i think that Lisa and Nelson complete each other so good that is not a coincidence, menwhile the Lisa-Milhouse thing is more like the kind of love Marge and Homer have. It's so interesting but no one has touch the subject ever

here's a theory: what if homer, after getting a robot body and being cloned so many times, lives to the year 3000, and becomes known as "bender" somehow forgetting who he was before becoming a robot and befriends fry because of his similarities to bart?
