Pro Tools Style Drum Editing in Logic Pro X

Logic Pro X has so many editing features built in, that it's sometimes easy to forget the simple ones!

In this video I'll show you how to edit drums SUPER FAST with a little known feature, that Pro Tools users have enjoyed for a long time. You can edit your drums without having to analyse the entire track for Flex editing, and move audio around the session without having to move the entire region.

omg dude thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed.. I've been trying to do all the stuff with flex time and it always comes out wonky at parts and I find weird artifacts.. I mostly just need light edits here and there and this is such a great way to do it.

Is it possible to move the audio within the region by dragging it with the mouse? Having to use multiple times a key command would result in hundreds of keys pressed in a long session

Great video. I'm trying to do this on a take within a comp and it's not working. I want to be able to retain my multi-tracked drums to audition different comps and edits to the individual takes as quickly as possible, but Logic doesn't want to let me do that.

They should let you use the modifier keys to click and move audio within the region. Like Cubase and studio one.
