Charyn Canyon / Чарынский каньон

The southeast region of Kazakhstan is a perfect holiday destination. This territory is called Zhetisu ("Seven Rivers" in Kazakh) and can offer unbelievable natural diversity from deserts and canyons to snowy mountains and turquoise lakes.

One of the pearls of this region presented in this video - the Charyn Canyon, which is part of the Charyn Canyon National Park and goes along the Charyn River, one of the deepest rivers of the Northern Tien Shan mountains. It's an amazing place where for millions of years, sand, water and wind transformed sandstone into wonderful shapes.
