Yes I'm a May Taurus baby. I love having my birthday in the spring. Such a hopeful time of the year.

I'm June 14 and Gemini. My husband and I will celebrate our 15th anniversary on May 30 🎉 (not that we're doing anything big - might get away for 1 night or something). And the last day of school is May 22 - hooray and hallelujah.

I actually have mixed feelings about summer because it's more work for me with the kids home (I work part time from home), but it's so nice for my husband. He's a high school principal and still works through the summer but the stress is like 90% less than during the school year!

Budget-wise, looking forward to May to put some money back in sinking funds. I had to take some out that I had put in in March when we got our tax bill 🙈. Did not get those withholdings right on my self-employed income!

May is my birthday month too! I got laid off on January 4th, and started a new job on the 3rd of this month, so this month is the start of hard core budgeting instead of just “spend as little as possible” mode and then in June im going to start tracking my net worth again!
