The administration of India under the East India Company and later the British Empire was carried out through a head of administration designated initially as the Governor, then the Governor General of Bengal and later Governor General of India and finally the Viceroy of India.
To understand History of India under the British, it is important to understand the policies and the contemporary situation of the country during their tenures.
To provide this knowledge, we are bringing a series of 5 videos, which will be covering these incumbents right from the Battle of Plassey until the Independence of India.
