I’m saddened by all the hateful comments on here. This was a beautiful historical landmark and a significant piece of Texas history. The church was 130 years old with beautiful architecture and breathtaking stained glass windows. I grew up there and I have thousands of treasured memories from my time there. I’m glad no one was hurt, but the loss is heartbreaking. This video is too short and doesn’t show how devastated the pastor is as you can easily see in the full video interview.

I sincerely hope they can preserve a significant part of the original structure by using it as some type of outdoor area with the walls remaining intact instead of being torn down. Hateful comments do not have a place in society
