Can you even imagine being a living descendant of one of these people and being able to see them as they were then, brought to life...amazing.

My father was a professional photographer and cinematographer his whole life. He would have been absolutely fascinated by these. Wonderful.

My paternal grandmother saw a Wild West Show in London I think, when she was a girl and remembered Buffalo Bill especially. She would have been as fascinated as I am by these famous and infamous people being so expertly revitalised.
The music chosen adds an extra poignancy, there's an underlying sadness in it.
Your work makes me a little sad; because they look so hopeful in the photos, but the empire is no more, what they stood for is trampled on and dismissed ... it would have saddened them deeply .... I'm glad they're not 'woke' in every sense!
Another triumph. Thank you.

These colorization really make history come alive. Really makes you appreciate that the people in the pictures lived. It’s amazing.

Feels like going back in time. Makes historical figures and regular folk more real.

I like that you're being awfully respectful to these people. Just the bare minimum of movement to make them come alive. No spectacular fantasies here. I LOVE your work, please keep on moving.

It's strange, but when they're in their original B&W setting, it's easy to feel disconnected to them. When they're redone in this way, you feel the connection to them somehow. Their clothing is so beautiful, the women had virtually no make up on yet they are so beautiful. And such a different world they are from. They're also very sad since at the time these were taken, these people were looking forward to their futures, their eyes with hopes of life and happiness.

I can't wait until technology progresses (exactly in the direction these beautiful recreations are going) to a point where we can put on our goggles and sit down and have a conversation with people from the past

Thank you so much. These make a world of difference in the colorless past that seemed unreal. I’ve always dreamed I’d see photos like this but never thought it would happen. All I can say is wow 🤩 and thank you

Just when I think these photos can’t get any better you wow us again! I think this is my favorite! I loved the Eagle Chief, and the two ladies. When they’re animated I tell myself they have traveled through time just so we can meet them. Look forward to each post! What amazing talented photo artists!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💗💗💗

These are absolutely beautiful. In some of them, he has the hair and hats move with the head, when the head turns - which is excellent. I have noticed, however, that when most people colorize these old photos, they do not have the chest rise and fall, when they 'wake up' the face. Very few people can sit still for very long, without breathing!

Great! I love the black and white photos to look at. Colorized and animated, it's like being transported to their world.

Both fantastic and fascinating and scary as hell, all at once.

Photos more than a century old remade to look as if they were taken yesterday. Another miracle of modern technology. I can’t wait until the same is done for motion pictures.

Amazing! Many years ago I attempted hand tinting, it calls for a talented and artist hand. This is very impressing work.

Amazing and so, so real. One feels one could see them in the street and say ‘hello’.

These colorizations definitively “bring to life” these pictures, and on top of that, these persons. It’s easier to see a bit more how their personality was. It’s amazing
