Energy is definitely in the right place as the No.1 problem. Given sufficient cheap clean energy most of the other problems become far easier to solve.

Countries with a high death rate also have a higher birth rate, in fact their birth rate so outstrips their death rate that they are in drastic positive population growth. Those countries with the longest lifespans have the lowest birth rates.

If we had some pandemic or global war our population would increase FASTER than it does now (See baby boom).

Interesting. imo, overpopulation should be #1 problem.
