New BMW F800GS Adventure - riding & exhaust sound

The new BMW F 800 GS Adventure - very comfortable, quick and extremely capable off road motorcycle. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I've never ridden a motorcycle that would have such a great suspension. Huge travel makes it deal with any bumps or potholes with litereally no effort. It's like driving a 7-series - just don't feel anything and fly over the road. Still rather stable at speed. The 800 cc twin engine may not be the most powerful but should be enough, especially if off road is your way to go.

As I ride one every day, I would add that this is a true road bike, intended for long trips, it has  a large tank, 24 liters, comfortable seat, silent exhaust, wind protection, smooth riding, enough power, as it should be for a road bike. It is not intended for wheelies or hard trail, yet it can do it with a small effort, but there are better bikes around. If you want to go for the long ride, this is the one. It is a quite tall bike, (89cm tall seat) so short legs are not welcome, unfortunately. I love it.

I was seriously thinking about buying BMW. Beautiful bike. An adv bike implies slowing down and enjoying the adventure.. 25 hp guarantees that. I can fix my Himmi myself and my ego left home years ago so why bother, besides, sometimes less is more. 😃

Apathie ok I'm not sure what it looks like in other parts of the world, but here the difference is still quite noticeable. I say that the fully-equipped 1200 GS should be 50-60% more expensive than this 800 GS Adventure. Maybe - I say MAYBE - it is different somewhere else.

i see that the tail light flickers while driving. is that a fault on the bike or is that the way it is support to be. i see you changed tires for on and off road. thats always the difficult part to choose the right tire for on and off road. Great video! Like that the bike did the talking.

Apologies for my ignorance but I was only told about this bike today. It looks great and surely a better choice to the Hondas I was considering. One question though is why is the stop light flickering? What is the intent here? Many thanks.

This is an awesome bike. If one day BMW upgrades it to 900-990cc and 105 to 115hp it will be THE perfect bike. (for me, at least)
