TWO uploads within a month of one another? What have we done to deserve such a blessing?

“My arms are way too tight for this conversation.”
I’m going to start using this

Everything in Bill Wurtz's music just comes together so well.

"oh, my memories are coming back in ways I wasn't ready for" is such a pretty and relatable line. I really like this one.

I always feel like I’m on the brink of understanding what these songs mean but can never figure them out

this song has made me cry, and i mean that in the best way possible. ive had to be a caretaker to almost all my grandparents, who all had gotten dementia before they died. and while they were not to the point of forgetting their place in time fully, this song, makes me think of someone with dementia singing about their experiences. how time flows for them, and how they see the world and people they interact with.
i know bill's songs are vague, probably on purpose, but i cant get over how much this fits people who cant keep track of reality anymore. a soft song despite losing the ground under your feet is something so powerful, and comforting.

I adore how close Bill gets to his songs having a clear meaning without them ever having one. I almost understand it I’m this 🤏 close, but it’s still just music. Beautiful, nonsensical music.

2:16 - 2:26, “so I’m holding on to the details, capture this moment in a series of carefully chosen words and phrases”
Unironically, I love this line. Its meta and self referential, and it’s so artistic and unique in that way. Also I write music so I’m like “heh, I do that!” Anyway, reality is a simulation have a good day

I don’t know why his song makes me feel so emotional. Everything he says sounds so meaningless yet it’s packed with depth and meaning I literally cried listening to this song idk why it’s just inspiring. Thank you

"somewhere there's a second scene, with characters who never speak, but you still know exactly what they mean. And you still know exactly what the story will be." Spoke to me in some way, this one is one of my favorites, always getting better

Me and my brother know this as 'the fishing song' because we play it everytime we go fishing.

Just got cast in and caught a 17lb carp while listening.

Thanks Bill for blessing me today

“My memories are coming back in ways I wasn’t ready for, but I’m still enjoying the way it feels” Such a good line wow

“The melody is drifting” part is genius with the brief modulation, as it temporarily drifts from the original key. What a masterpiece

bill's lyrics always have the vibes both of being procedurally generated and of being deeply existentially profound

I feel like Bill Wurtz’s music is like if David Bowie switched to jazz and collaborated with Bob Ross to write his songs.

It’s beautiful.

I love how elements of this come from themes he’s already built: 0:40 sounds like “when’s christmas? a little bit later”
