Asparagus is like my miracle food. No matter how bad I feel if I eat Asparagus it clears up stomach issues, aches and pain.

My aunt lived to be 89. She was healthy. She ate asparagus with all her meals. I stayed at her house one summer and watched her cook it. She would put a little olive oil in a small skillet, with pepper and sea salt very little and she would crush garlic and put in it. Then she squeezed a fresh lemon. She didn't cook it long but, it was so delicious. Her death at 89 was due to a fall while walking to the store. She trips while walking and fell and hit her head, and really messed her hip up. She was never the same. I always felt bad that I wasn't around to go to the store for her. But she loved her asparagus.

My dad swears it was the asparagus he ate three times daily that was the reason his doctor stood in front of him 6 years after duodenal cancer surgery (at 79 years old) telling him he was the only one his doctor knew of that survived that long. He is still cancer free.

An old video but still very relevant. I have switched to including Asparagus into my diet on a daily basis and it definitely has improved my energy. My Mom and Dad both suffered from Kidney Stones so I am hoping I don't suffer the same fate. Dr Berg is the best and I really appreciate his efforts.

Asparagus is a pre-biotic that doesn't break down until it hits your large intestines. Microbes live off this fiber. Extremely high Vit. K, folate, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, high phosphorous (improves energy) diuretic, high in potassium, kidney detoxifyer. Desolves kidney stones, chromium- helps insulin resistance -make insulin more sensitive.

i only today tried asparagus for like the first time. I love it. Its easy to cook and it actually tastes great unlike some other greens. I think I could literally just eat it all day long (I cooked it with olive oil+pepper+salt+red peppers)

Hi Dr. Berg! You are the best on YouTube. I've been using your Adrenal Stress/Cortisol formula, but I cannot take the galbladder formula which came with the others...it causes me to have heartburn. Just wanted to mention that, but now will say something about asparagus. I've always loved it, but seldom ate it until I watched some Keto videos and decided to try my version of others. I've been eating this on a daily basis for at least 6-7 months. Can't stop...it's so addicting. I cut up a few spears into bit-size pieces and saute with a little Bragg's olive oil and Kerrygold butter. Once lightly sauted, I add two beaten eggs....not overcooking! Then add Himalyan salt and Tilicherry black pepper with Piper Nigrum ~ I always try to find what's "best". Then the KEY ingredient ~ a tablespoon of Bragg's Nutritional Yeast sprinkled over all. Oh my gosh, this is truly a gourmet meal. Had NO IDEA how good that yeast is ~ sounds awful, but NOT.

Thank you for your generous hard work and educational videos. You definitely have a genuine and non-mediocre, or self-promoting vocation toward better health, an attribute that is becoming rarer and rarer these days.
