"I'm proud to have been the first British Asian Prime Minister but I was even prouder that it was not that big a deal."

Actually respect to the man.
Never believed he was the best, but he did actually try and cared I think.

Really like how the Comment Section now loves Rishi, but when he was PM, He was just a rich bloody Indian!

Nice to see them sharing banter and humour even if they disagree politically. In this increasing polarising world, being able to discuss with respect and humility humanises them. I don't agree with Rishi and Keir politically but this was nice to hear.

Honestly, seeing two politicians with completely different perspectives, exchanging banter is great. One thing that we sometimes need to remember is that despite our differences, humanity must continue with conversation and not useless fights

Sunak lost because people had just been fed up of the Tories. Could have had the best campaign ever and still wouldn't stand a chance

He was still better than most of the Prime Ministers

for all he was short time he actually tried to do the job of running the country for everyone. not just his party faithfull.. (HOW IT SHOULD BE)

looking at how toxic the american politics is at the moment, it's great to see 2 leaders having a laugh together and not being hostile to each other.

This was brilliant - really demonstrates what democracy looks like. It's proffesional and both parties respect each other, other like some countries.

It’s nice to see two opponents in politics still have some respect towards each other, not the same in the us or in my country, France

How come you can never see something similar in America? Thats right because in Europe, parties even opposing ones tend to collaborate and not act like its a good vs evil battle in the final series of a starwars movie.

Just because you don't agree on everything does not mean that you can't respect the opposition. What a great demonstration of a healthy democracy.

This is a great demonstration of decency, maturity and healthy politics.

I don't like Labour's untrusted answer and they always avoided Mr. Sunak's question not just election campaign in June but in house of commons.

Rishi Sunak is a profoundly good man and a very competent politician( rare these days ). However, he was PM at the wrong time for Conservatives. Had he become PM after David Cameron, he would have got ample time to leave a lasting legacy.

Who knows, after some time as a back bencher, he might make a comeback again !!. He has a long political career ahead of him.
