I still feel like there's more to the story, everybody seems to be so focused on Aster but nobody seems to notice how odd Zinnia is, how aggressive and fearless she is, her crazy facial expressions, her movement and battle stance. At first I thought she had some connection to AZ from X&Y and came from the past and was maybe Neanderthal-ish and kind of a savage, she literally moves like a primape and wanted the world to be like it once was in the past. there's gotta be more to her.

Zinnia deserved much more attention and screentime

All these people claiming that Aster was Zinnia's daughter in the video game when a June 2015 interview with Shiguru Ohmori of Nintendo Dream confirms that Aster was someone with the Lorekeeper title before Zinnia.

Just like the manga.

You can all stop now

Fascinating, it certainly adds a layer to Zinnia the wasn't quite there in the games. Doesn't quite make up for the "I have answers you want but I'm not going to tell you and just do whatever I want" shenanigans she pulled in the Delta episode, but it does help somewhat.

No. This is Aster in the manga. The games have a completely different canon; it is implied and outright stated that Aster is Zinnia's daughter. Some quotes to support my claim:

"Such a spoiled girl you are, Aster... So what'll be our next stop, hmm, sweetie?"
"Oh, oh, what's this? Aren't you a happy girl, Aster? ♪ Just what I'd expect of my daughter! We're so in sync! Ahahaha!"
"... See that, Aster? You always wanted to watch them, right? The Litleonids. A million glittering stars falling from the sky... The show is about to start."
"... I used to watch the stars like this all the time... Together with Aster. We were always together. In good times and in bad. I loved her. I loved her with everything I had... But I still lost her."
"... Hahaha... ... I want to see her... I want to be with her again... My sweet Aster..."

The whole point of Zinnia's character is that she was a young mother who's daughter died, which left her mentally scarred and distraught.

My theory on who Aster is, is that Aster is actually Emma. My theory - even though it sounds totally weird - is that Hoopa (yes that Hoopa) teleported Emma/Aster to Lumiose. This could be seen by Looker who is ORAS shows some signs of amnesia due to what is speculated to be Hoopa, so why couldn't Hoopa teleport Aster/Emma. This caused her to gain amnesia and could possibly explain why she has no family and living on the streets from as far as I know. Other similar (not as solid evidence) includes the fact that they share skin tone, hair colour and I think eye colour. They both have partner Pokemon who are small, purple and have a similar sounding name with the "urr" sound, Whismur/Espurr. Maybe Emma/Aster had vague memories and went looking for a Pokemon with these similarities, when she ran into the Espurr. The name Aster actually means "Star" and the name Emma means "Universe or Universal" (my friend told me this so I don't know if it's true) another piece of evidence is in the Pokemon timeline. X and Y is set at the end of the timeline and ORAS is set at the beginning of the timeline. It's not improbable to believe that Hoopa would transport Pokemon through time (if possible - it's Pokemon, who's knows) so here's what I think. Before ORAS - Aster/Emma was teleported to Kalos losing her memories, when it comes to looker - at the end of the looker missions in X and Y, Hoopa then teleported him back to ORAS (kinda causing a weird loop in which he knows what could happen due to being from the future but is now an amnesiac)

I hope I haven't over complicated the theory and hope you understand what I'm saying.

"Hinted" that there's multiple universes

There is no evidence that the manga is an official canon in relation to the games. It is an interesting possibility, though. Until and unless any official explanation is given, my personal theory still stands for me. Certain lines of fact are addressed in the manga, but it does not fit Zinnia's game characterization to me. Again, though, _that is just how I see it_.

Aster is supposedly dead in ORAS. In Undertale, there's another deceased person named "Gaster". "Gamma" comes before "Delta", therefore events before the Delta episode. G+Aster = Gaster.

SANS IS DUSKULL CONFIRMED.

+Ovi She calls Aster her daughter in ORAS, so....
Canon to one universe(manga),
Literally impossible in the game universe.

What amazes me most is that you made the fact that Aster is Zinnia's daughter blatant in the last video... Sometimes, you just have to accept you do not have enough information to paint one singular, complete picture. Or else you make a coherent plot but subconsciously discard what doesn't fit your theory. (I'm here with FNAF right now... it is frustrating.)

Actually, I do have an interesting tidbit on Aster and Zinnia in the games, though. Aster is a flower associated with birth, Zinnia is a flower associated with death- this peaked my curiosity as to what the Japanese literal names meant. You should read for yourself, as it is a complex yin-yang philosophy I would not do grace to trying to explain it myself-
Look them up on Bulbepedia. They have the literal translations.

Depends on whether you consider the Pokemon Adventures manga as canon in relation to the games. For example, Winona & Wallace are not implied to have had any sort of past romantic relationship in either RSE nor the ORAS games. Otherwise, good theory video.

No, this doesn't awsner the question, the Adventures manga is pretty much non-canon, the story is made by Satoshi Yamamoto, who has NOTHING to do with Game Freak, he just have the rights to sell his manga as an oficcial product, Pokémon has a bunch of "official" mangas, and all they have some creative freedom, so no, this is Aster from the Adventures manga, not the REAL Aster, we need real informations from the main games, Adventures follow its own story arc and won rules and logic since the beginnig, just like the anime.
