My dog had cancer. Died in my arms as he let out his final breath. I prayed with all my heart to take his pain away. He waited for me to get home. Drank and ate for the first time all week. Held him for hours on the living room floor before he finally passed. As painful as that was, the memory of his life is what I will cherish the most.

My dog had cancer over his whole body and an agressiv stomach tumor. We had to put him sleep befor exactly 1 year when he couln‘t stop howling bc of his pain. The last drive was to the vet. He‘s eyes were so different glassy so he knew it‘s happening…💔

A well known vet said that most animal owners don't want to be in the room with them while they die.he said all animals look for the owner and know what's happening. As much as it hurts, don't let their last moments of life be alone with a stranger . You can never get that back
