I agree there is no more republican party. From the time I was in high school, I was a member of the “young Republican club”. We used to go out and register people to vote. I have voted Republican my entire life. There are no Republicans. My party has vanished. I don’t know what you call the clowns that have been elected to Congress that take stage time for their own personal interests. They aren’t politicians or Republicans and they haven’t done one damn thing for the people in the United States of America.

I find it inconcievable that a person who is indicted can at the same time actively run for President of the United States. Justice should come before a personal career and therefore the candidacy should be suspended until the case has been totally gone through the justice system and the final verdict has been spoken. If the person is deemed innocent, then his candidacy should be resumed, if not for this term, then the next. If found guilty, then it's straight to jail and the candidacy won't be resumed.
To me this is only fair and keeps both processes clean of intermingling.

My problem is that my vote in California doesn't have the same weight that a vote in Ohio or Wisconsin has. end the electoral college.

Americans need to volunteer for just ONE election as a poll worker to be able to form an educated opinion on whether or not they have confidence in our elections. I did in 2022 and worked along side my neighbors, who align with a different party than mine, yet we all ensured our precinct had administered fair election.

We got to this point because of the Supreme Court. The political parties are going to try what they can to win the game, that's just the nature of it. The problem is the referee isn't calling the fouls. Citizens United, gutting of the Voting Rights Act, and repeated permission from the SC on partisan gerrymandering is what has eroded public confidence in Elections.
