Only thing I don't get is the price. This is a tiny stripped out little 4 cyl vehicle, thing should be under $20K.

I LOVE mine!! It's all tricked out for camping. It's such a shame Americans are still infatuated with large vehicles. In Europe these are the Fiat Doblo. I would love to have the 6-speed manual transmission with diesel engine that is available over there...

Those cars were made in Türkiye and shipped to the US. But in Europe have two engine 1.3 litre or 1.6 litre turbo diesel engine with 6 speed Manuel transmission that putting out 90 or 120 hp. It is ridiculous when looking 2.4 litre turbo petrol engine and 9 speed automatic from here. This car not continuing because fiat group had an agreement with PSA Peugeot Citroen group and they took Peugeot's minivan rifter and sell on under fiats name. Because rifter is better with all the new technology thinks like keyless enter and ingition, two zone AC, adaptive cruise control with same cargo capacity. I think it will come to US in 1-2 years with a bigger petrol engine

I have a 2015 Promaster City SLT wagon. It’s the one with the back seat. Overall I like it. It has some annoying quirks, but it’s the right size package for me, and it’s a loaded version. Mine has the rear slider roll down power windows. I like that option. It also has heated seats, rear window wiper and defroster. It has the factory tow package with the receiver hitch and 4/7 pin connector. I like the low cargo floor and the 52 inch tall opening for the rear doors. With its 4 wheel independent suspension, the rear end does not dance around in the bumps. With the 9 speed transmission, it has the low initial gearing so it scoots away from the light pretty good. And with the 9th gear, you can zoom past 85 mph with no problem. (You will seldom see 9th gear below 75 mph) the huge front doors are great for enter and exit. Mine has the fog lights, painted bumpers and silver grill with the factory alloy wheels. With its dark read metallic paint, it looks good too. It’s not the generic white toaster van.

The "commercial vehicle" pricing on these is completely absurd. So I bought a used Odyssey for my work van. If honda made an odyssey with a completely flat floor and barn doors instead of a hatch, they would completely dominate the work van market

RAM and all the rest are driving the consumers toward the more expensive and gas guzzling full sized vans. So disgusting that a great little van like the RAM Promaster City and it's counterparts are being phased out.

Title is misleading. There is no comment about why Ram is discontinuing this vehicle. Very frustrating to go through the entire video and not answer the question in the title.

Fun fact, the little black metal section of floor in the back of those vans, are an access panel to replace the fuel pump. The full size promasters have them right beside the driver seat in the cab.

Mine is a 2015 with only 88, 000 kms on it. I camperized it and it's the perfect size. I change the oil every 8000kms and I have never had any excess oil usage issues.

Only issue was the key would not release from the ignition. It has a crappy turning radius.

I put my kayak on the roof and I tow my motorcycle. I put a bed in it, a stove and I even have a porta-potty. I call it the shaggin' wagon (wink wink). I put sound deadener in it and with the camping package, it's quiet enough.

I'd buy it again.

Ram probably canceled it because there is a new one out over in Europe now. It would probably sell really well here but FCA likes to keep all their good stuff for Europe

This is better then a truck to haul stuff to the dumps without covering it up plus great in winter time if you buy bulky items i.e.furniture from Costco, ikea, Walmart no delivery fee's.

They stop making it because even if this car has a great engine in USA, the car itself is poor quality construction, you always have something to fix, AC, airbag connectors, radio, etc...

I'm still driving my 2015 model which fortunately came with windows and back seats which split into a one-seater and a 2-seater which I bought in 2016 with only 9, 000 miles on it from my local Car Sense. I'm a jewelry artisan and sell at craft shows around the mid-Atlantic region. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this vehicle! It's very comfortable on long trips, and has masses of space for my booth and products. Currently having a bit of an issue with oil consumption and there has been a recall to try to fix this. The only other issue I had was there was a blockage that stopped rain from draining from the cowl and it backed up and drained into the front passenger floor. Finally my husband found the problem after a dealer tried to tell me there was a leak around the antenna in the roof that would cost $700+ to fix. It was just dirt and debris. When this one gives out I hope I can buy another one, although hoping to keep this one going for years to come.

I just caint believe these things are 34 grand. Jesus man.
Its just a box and 4 tires. Thats it.
I got my 2018 Nissan Frontier pro4X for 20 cash. Had only about 20, 000 miles. 4 liter V6. 4X4 with auto locker hubs. Upgrated suspension and tires and wheels.

Pretty sure the 2021 Pro Master my employer has in fleet use is ready to self destruct from lack of routine maintenance (15K past its recommended oil change for example) yet still gets the job reliably accomplished, would not hesitate to own one.

I got a 2022 in April of 2023, and I love it!

I was hoping to trade it in for a newer model with some customizations in a year or two, so it’s a shame that they are being discontinued.

Drives comfortably, holds a lot, and I love that is has the lowest load floor height in class.

Making it AWD or 4WD would raise the load floor height.

What a shame Ram cancelled making this fine vehicle. I was looking forward to buying a 2022 model.

they eat gas like no tomorrow. I hate the fact that the gas mileage is based on driving and not content.

For shame. I absolutely love my 2015 Promaster City for business and I WAS going to buy another when I wore this one out. 140k miles with no major issues. Don’t know what I’ll do now.

I have a 2010 transit connect. It's really a great category vehicle although my van has been very unreliable and expensive to maintain. I was hoping to hear about how reliable the pro city is. A red wagon version would be great to have.
