I'm doing research at the minute on making time lapses. Can I ask why you think this one was so 'choppy'? Would 30fps have helped? I've been reading about a formula which goes something like; If you're doing a 30 second video at 24fps then you need to multiply 30 x 24 = 720 pictures. 720 pictures x 5 seconds (interval between pics) = 3600 seconds = 1 hour. So it will take1 hour to shoot.
