What if it was a stupid misdemeanor that was over seven years ago where one of my medications had fallen between the seat an the console of my truck and I didn't know it but the bottle to my medication was in the console.. the officer recognized it but still arrested me and took me to jail that night on felony possession charges because the pill had been rolling around in the floorboard of my truck for so long that he could not read the letters on the pill even though there was a bottle in the console for a prescription of that medication that looked identical to the one that he couldn't read two numbers on.. I was booked under felony charges, I went to court and it was knocked down to a misdemeanor and I got a year of unsupervised probation and that was seven years ago an the ONLY TIME I've ever been in trouble in my life. All that for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. When I know for a fact I did, the cop was young he was in his early twenties and just looking for a reason to pull me over. I had just dropped a friend off from work whose car would not start when he got in the parking lot, and he lived in an area of Birmingham that I wasn't familiar with.. and the cop assumed that I was buying drugs...

In Utah you don't need a concealed carry permit. I still went out and got it. That was about $200 though 😅
