ZeroPi (Sarah Leo on violin and Marco Negro on keyboards, programming and mixing) is a duo playing instrumental 80s synth pop - new new wave original tracks, covers of some great eighties classics (Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, Ultravox, Yazoo, A-ha and more) and revisited traditional Irish tunes.

All the sequencing is done on hardware gear, just because it's more fun! 😉

Yamaha QY700, Novation Circuit, Roland Juno 2, Waldorf Streichfett, Waldorf Pulse 2, Vermona Mono Lancet, Arturia Minibrute.

Carpenter always said he saw Escape as a ‘western’ movie (casting Lee Van Cleef, and Kurt Russell putting on his best Clint Eastwood act). Now that I hear the theme song played on violin, I can definitely see where it could just as easily have been the theme for a classic Western movie! Carpenter is a genius 😎👍
