CDU Community Forum | Fulfilling Founders' Promise of Health Care Providers for South LA

The topic for the first CDU Community Forum of 2023 was Fulfilling the Founders' Promise of Health Care Providers for South LA and Other Under-served Communities. Arturo Ybarra, Executive Director of the Watts/Century Latino Organization, and Timothy Watkins, Sr., President, and CEO of the Watts Labor Community Action Committee, were featured panelists, joining CDU President and CEO Dr. David M. Carlisle for a discussion on the impact of CDU’s mission, vision, and activities on the health and well-being of the South Los Angeles community and beyond.

As always, the event will be moderated by Sylvia Drew Ivie, daughter of Charles R. Drew, who serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the President at CDU.
