Honestly the only reviewer I can trust which is funny cause I don’t follow reviews but this actually feels genuine like someone knows what they’re talking about. The game definitely emphasizes it being an anniversary title so don’t expect a heavy story which I don’t mind.

Thanks for the great reviews, you are some of the few reviewers I trust.

They brought back Fort Nox from Radiant Dawn 3-13… That’s like a dream come true.

The wounded idea sounds good. No one ever really "dies" in the games, especially if they are a unit vital to the story iirc so making them out of commission for a few battles in a higher difficulty sounds great.

Aside from that, this was a fair review and one of the best. It points out the missed opportunities but doesn't forget the so many positives. Also it treats FE Engage as its own thing

I can tell you're a fan of the series with some similar concerns just by this review, it's pretty reassuring to hear that the characters aren't as one dimensional as I was worried they could be and that the gameplay all comes together, they've certainly made some interesting choices this time around.
Hopefully we do have a game designed with ironmans in mind, but I figured this one wouldn't be.

Sounds like release in 3 days will be pretty fun.

This was an incredible review. So hype for this release!

This is the best Engage review, easily. So many reviews are just 50% whining about Engage not having the school fluff from 3 Houses...

Really great review! You're probably the reviewer I trust most regarding this game, so I'm glad to hear positive opinions on it.

“Getting OHKO’d by overpowered Ballista while crossing the bridge in Thracia.”

As if I didn’t hate Ballista enough in FE5

I honestly think of all the reviews out there, you seem the only one who actually played games in this franchise outside of Three Houses before, which makes me trust your opinion far more than all the others, so thanks for that!

By the way, random question because I don't think many other people could really answer it: Do you remember how many units could be deployed on the final map? I usually like to plan my team around that number of units, so everyone on the team can fight in the final fight.

I was on the fence about this game. But thanks you you guys I think I might get it.

Considering lower and lower consequences of classic mode I think a nice idea would be getting a scar after being "killed" - basically a level up with negative growths, punishing recklessness while keeping units in the story and keeping their supports as sort of a stepping stone between casual and classic mode.

This reviewer seems to be a real fan of the franchise. He sounds like he wants to ironman the game.

Great review! I'm excited to play the game when it comes out.

This game gonna split the fan base in two. But thank fucking god they went back to prioritizing tactics. Three Houses Map Design was complete garbage and barely forced you to think innovatively

2:05 I'M LOVING THIS GAME'S SOUNDTRACK! I NEED THIS GAME IN MY HANDS ASAP

Based on what I have been hearing, this game went back to the style of FE from Awakening and Fates. Shorter support conversations, less emphasis on the prep phase, and Awakening and Fate's style of character progression.

My big surprise is that the player character actually voices the lines

But does it convince children to use Colgate?

Also, it truly does sound like this game was designed to be a sort of celebration of Fire Emblem instead of a full on main title, especially now that you mention some maps are directly taken from previous titles with similar, if not identical, objectives.
