Realistically who gifts an ironing board at a wedding? Asking for money is super tacky

I have an...  onion slicer?  if it's like a slap chopper, that's how it works basically.  I showed it to the kids but they just use a knife right now, the older kids are getting much better with their knife skills.  We had one minor cut.  They don't cook when I'm not at home, and usually sitting in the next area of the same room.  But I don't need to look over their shoulders after a certain point.  With the oldest ones coming along as capable teachers for the littler ones as they grow we're really gathering speed here.  It was really front loaded at first but things start moving as the children develop.
