We Renovated our Fallen Apart Boathouse

Back in 2020, we bought this rundown cabin in the Canadian wilderness to make a family home and create a cozy home base. We are so proud of how far we've come with this (mostly) DIY project and couldn't be happier to be raising a beautiful new baby out here in the woods. Is there honestly anything better than being in nature, getting your toes in the dirt and swimming in Canadian fresh water lakes? This week we’re moving on to a tiny space that we think will have a BIG impact for us and baby! The boat shed has long been a rundown (kind of disgusting) building that we just throw our junk in and forget about it. But, the vision is to turn this 150 sq ft into a functional storage shed that ALSO doubles as a mini bar, change table for baby and keeper of the sand toys for the beach :)

Ohhh Bec, I'm so sorry about your pain. I had a herniated disc in my neck and the nerve pain that went through my shoulder and down my arm was the most awful pain I had ever experienced. I hope they find some relief for you. All the best!

I am always amazed at Eamon building skills and the way he improvises and will always work out exactly how he wants it.
