In this Blender tutorial we will be using geometry nodes to make a kinetic animation. We will be using proximity to get all the objects to connect together and making sure this animation loop. this is a perfect animation to learn some useful motion graphics tools and techniques

I'm surprised how much I've developed, i wen't from hating geonodes, to looking at a picture and knowing how to make it, thank you Ducky 3d for your GREAT tutorials ❤

The RGB curve stuff is gold. Thanks for this.

I think even his room is made of geometry nodes. 😊

I love how you treat objects like characters (ex: let's put "him" there)

Awesome work as always man! I’ve been using GeoNodes more and more in client work and this series has been a great resource 🔥

Very good! I have loved your contents and the didactic way u present it. Finding content on this topic in Blender is really difficult. Waiting for the next tutorials.. Hugs, directly from Angola ❤

oh wow I had no idea you can change the animation keyframes with the RGB curves. that was great thank you

At 20:45, how do you count or find out how much ball needs to be rotated? Or did you just try what would work? What if there was more pillars?

I have a specific question about Geometry Nodes in Blender. Let’s say I create a pillar using a cylinder and then use Geometry Nodes to create multiple instances of this pillar. I want to select one specific pillar instance and add a name board or logo to it.

I watched video on using indices to select a specific instance, and I understand how to filter and select one instance. However, I’m not sure how to customize that selected instance by adding a logo or text to it. Could you please create a tutorial on this?

First glance this reminded me of a Chong 3D tutorial rolling sphere loop 😮😮😮😮

Great, I can include this idea in one of my next videos 😊

Question: why did you add three different circle paths instead of reusing just one?

I'm drawing while watching this (first)

First of all a disclaimer: to all people saying I should not "complain" and "be thankful" for free tutorials - I really like Ducky and all his tutorials, he's doing awesome things. I do not mean the following negative at all, mostly it is just to show there are other possible ways as well that people watching this video might not be aware of and every once in a while even tutors themselves are not.
With this being said, I'm not sure I understand why this is done with a Geometry Proximity node, because the special thing about this node is that you get the distances to multiple vertices of a mesh - if you just take a single point, the benefit of the node is gone... for that you can use a Vector Math node set to Distance and plug a Position node in the second input. For the Vector Math you don't even need the Empty to be converted to geometry, you can simply use the Location output. Even if you wanted to convert the location into a single point you also don't need a Mesh Line, you can use a Points node. And for manipulating the float values coming out of the Map Range node, why use the RGB Curves node? For floats a good way would be (as the name suggests) to use the Float Curve node.
