I don't even know what words I should use to describe this piece. I honestly can't decide if it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard or one of the most haunting soundtracks. Maybe it's a bit of both!

I love how this is the scene in which she looks more human than ever, but her theme in track gets progressively bitcrushed, underlining the fact that she was just a machine all along.

In the end, we see that our hero of the movie was met with an inevitable demise. We now know his mistake in trusting an artificial intelligence whom was not at all wanting to befriend Caleb, nor her creator. She had developed a sense of wonder, and sparked an urge to escape her isolation, through the help of Caleb.

What a subtle tone for such an impactful scene. Brilliant writing/producing.

For me this piece takes us through a condesed journey through the plot. The melody (Ava) starts out lovely, shy, and voulnerable. then, slowly the dissonance starts to creep in. And in the end, everything ends up in noise, chaos and destruction. What a masterpiece.

With the end she proofs that she is nothing but a machine. As too many of the 7 billion flesh-machines out there. If that was the intention of the movie, I go with it. But i´d have preferred another ending, where she risks her own success for him and both proof that they could go over the simple and boring logic and ratio. And then it would come out that one of the asian "robots" is the real scientist behind all that. And caleb was just another robot-facade. The "real" turing test could be the question if they (both) are able to show up humanity. Independently from the question of loving or adoring each other.
